Having had many discussions with Aaron during the last months of her life my mother trusted in his (Aarons) vision for this new natural burial site and she died safe in the knowledge that both her and my Brothers ashes would be laid to rest in a setting that allows peaceful reflection in an environment of natural beauty and tranquillity. The functionality of death is rarely easy but Aaron and his team consistently and diligently work with empathy ensuring that we as a family have the opportunity to say our goodbyes with dignity and subsequently are presented with a place we can all visit which is not so much sombre but a place of happy memories of all that we shared and not all that we have lost. I cannot recommend or thank them enough. W

We chose Leafy Lane Woods as the final resting place for our Mum and we couldn't be happier with the decision. The process of dealing with AJB Funerals was 1st class and they were able to accommodate all our wishes. The tree planting service was very respectful and all the staff incredibly helpful and friendly making what was a very sad day a comforting day. A beautiful, peaceful place to be laid to rest and the trees are a great way to remember both Mum and Dad as they stand side by side just as they did in life.

I just wanted to say how good the woodland and meadow are looking. Your yellow rattle now in full flower will soon allow the meadow to blossom in future years. It’s amazing how everything has grown. It must be hard work but is really paying off. We visit often and have watched as everything grows. Looking forward to seeing it develop.

Can I please take this opportunity to thank the whole team at AJB for making the whole process easy for me. Aaron, Angela & Sally were patient and compassionate throughout and the funeral itself was dignified and peaceful. My husband’s funeral was just as we wanted and I am so happy we chose the woodland burial, I go up to the woods every week and it looks different every time. It is a truly peaceful place to go and I know my husband would have loved it there.

I just want to say thank you for making Friday as wonderful as it was. A sad day for us losing such an amazing Mum, but knowing she has been laid to rest there is a great comfort to us and I can imagine the trees in 50 years or so, imposing and magnificent as part of a beautiful woodland for generations to enjoy.

The professionalism and helpfulness towards us was 1st class and the whole experience from start to finish was perfect for us.

Thank you very much for letting us observe the burial on Thursday. Bill and I felt that the simple burial was most fitting for our brother who had been a recluse for many years and the site is very peaceful, rural and leafy, in fact!  He would have liked to be there in life.
